1. Scope and controller
This Policy applies to Vice Weave. The Operator is the controller of account, Community, legal-acceptance, security, and service-usage data it determines how to process. Contact legal@viceweave.com for privacy requests. Third-party AI providers, Patreon, and external hosts may act as separate controllers for their own processing.
2. Data we process
- Account data such as email, display name, password verifier, account status, role, and authentication provider.
- Patreon identifiers, membership tier, entitlement and billing-status metadata; we do not receive full card numbers.
- Prompts, generated content, game state, cloud saves, Community posts, comments, reactions, reports, and moderation records.
- AI usage counters, model selections, request diagnostics, and safety signals.
- Technical and security data such as IP-derived country, user-agent, timestamps, session identifiers, rate-limit keys, and server logs.
- Legal acceptance version, document hash, timestamp, age assertion or verification method, and a random receipt identifier.
- Messages you send to support, privacy, copyright, or moderation channels.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Perform the contract: accounts, game features, AI requests, cloud saves, Community publishing, and Patreon benefits.
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service reliability, moderation, debugging, enforcing rules, and improving core features, balanced against user rights.
- Legal obligations: responding to authorities, preserving required records, protecting minors, tax or consumer compliance, and handling valid legal notices.
- Consent: optional cookies, optional marketing, or processing for which local law specifically requires consent. Consent can be withdrawn prospectively.
- Vital interests or public interest where narrowly necessary to address an immediate safety threat or comply with applicable law.
4. Adult and sensitive content
Prompts and roleplay may reveal sexual interests or other sensitive information. Avoid using real identities or unnecessary personal data. We process submitted content only as needed to provide the requested feature, secure the Service, enforce policy, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell sensitive personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
5. Sharing and processors
Data may be shared with infrastructure and security providers, AI gateways and model providers selected for a request, transactional email providers, Patreon, professional advisers, and authorities when lawfully required. Public posts are shared with anyone who can access the Community. External links send requests to the host selected by the poster.
Providers receive only data reasonably needed for their function and are expected to protect it under contract or their applicable terms. A current provider list may be requested through the legal contact.
6. International transfers
Vice Weave and its providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual safeguards, or another lawful mechanism. No transfer mechanism eliminates every jurisdictional risk.
7. Retention
We retain account data while the account is active and for a limited period afterward for security, disputes, and legal compliance. Active sessions, rate limits, logs, AI usage records, backups, Community audit evidence, Patreon records, and legal acceptances have different operational or legal retention periods. Content is deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably necessary, subject to backups, unresolved reports, fraud prevention, and legal holds.
Raw identity documents or biometric templates are not collected by the current self-attestation gate. If age assurance is added, Vice Weave intends to retain only the provider result and minimal audit evidence, not the underlying document or biometric data.
8. Security
We use measures designed to reduce risk, including HTTPS, scoped cloud bindings, salted password derivation, HttpOnly cookies, access controls, rate limits, content validation, and administrative audit logs. No system is perfectly secure. Users should keep independent backups and report suspected compromise promptly.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about sharing and automated processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to legal@viceweave.com; identity verification may be required, and authorized agents may be accepted where legally required.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Some data may be retained or withheld where an exemption applies, including security, freedom of expression, legal claims, or obligations to other people.
10. Automated systems
Automated systems may filter prompts, count usage, detect abuse, prioritize moderation, or restrict unsafe requests. They do not make legal, employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similarly consequential decisions about users. Significant account actions may be appealed through the legal contact.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children and must not be used by anyone below the applicable adult age. If we learn that a minor supplied personal data, we may immediately restrict the account, preserve evidence required for safety or law enforcement, and delete data when legally appropriate.
12. Cookies and browser storage
Strictly necessary cookies support legal acceptance, authentication, security, and sessions. Local browser storage holds game saves, preferences, drafts, and imported assets on the user's device. See the Cookie Policy for details. Optional analytics or advertising cookies will require a separate choice where applicable.
13. Changes and contact
Material changes will receive a new date or version and, where required, notice or renewed consent. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to legal@viceweave.com.
