1. Necessary cookies
- viceweave_legal records the currently accepted legal version and a random receipt in a signed HttpOnly cookie.
- viceweave_session supports the temporary private-preview access gate.
- viceweave_auth supports signed-in account sessions.
- Security and OAuth cookies may temporarily preserve login state and prevent cross-site request attacks.
2. Local browser storage
The game uses localStorage and related browser storage for adventures, cards, worlds, outfits, preferences, Community drafts, and imported media. This data ordinarily remains on the device unless you use cloud sync, publish it, or send it to an AI feature. Clearing site data can permanently remove local progress.
3. Optional technologies
The current legal and authentication mechanisms are strictly necessary. If optional analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking is introduced, it will be described and offered through a separate consent choice where required. External image and pack hosts may set their own cookies when you visit them.
4. Controls
Browser controls can delete cookies and local data, but removing necessary cookies signs you out or requires legal acceptance again. Blocking browser storage may prevent game saves, imports, drafts, and preferences from working.
