Adults only · Terms of Use
Read before entering.
Vice Weave contains adult fictional material, generative AI, user-created posts, and links to externally hosted files. Review the agreement below before using any protected area.
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and the person or entity operating Vice Weave (the “Operator,” “Vice Weave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern the website, game engine, Play Lab, Outfit Studio, Community, account services, AI features, and related software and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, accessing protected areas, or selecting “Accept and enter,” you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference. Legal notices may be sent to legal@viceweave.com. The Operator's legally required identifying information will be supplied through that channel where applicable.
2. Adults only and local eligibility
The Service is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old and at least the age of legal majority where you live. If a higher age applies to adult material, contracts, or online services in your location, you must meet that higher age.
You may not access the Service from a jurisdiction where adult fictional content, generative AI, or any feature you intend to use is prohibited. We may request additional age assurance, restrict features, or block access by territory. A false age statement is a material breach of these Terms.
3. Nature of the Service
Vice Weave is an adult fictional roleplay game and game engine. It can generate unpredictable text and images through third-party AI providers and can display material created or linked by users. AI output is synthetic, may be inaccurate, offensive, repetitive, incomplete, or unexpectedly similar to existing material, and must not be treated as professional advice or factual information.
The Service is under active development. Features, models, limits, interfaces, stored formats, and availability may change. Unless we expressly promise otherwise, experimental and preview features are provided for evaluation and entertainment.
4. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential.
- Do not share, sell, automate, or transfer an account without written permission.
- Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access and keep your recovery email available.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
- We may require email confirmation, Patreon verification, anti-abuse checks, or additional security controls.
5. Patreon memberships, plans, credits, and limits
Patreon is an independent service and processes its own subscriptions, billing, cancellations, refunds, taxes, and payment disputes. A Patreon tier may grant a Vice Weave account level, monthly allowances, or other benefits only while the corresponding membership remains valid and verifiable.
Upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, declined payments, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, membership edits, delayed webhooks, or fraud reviews may change, pause, recalculate, or remove benefits. Usage already consumed in a billing period may be counted when a plan changes. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire or reset as described in the interface. We may correct errors and reverse credits granted through mistake, abuse, refund, or chargeback.
Displayed percentages are convenience indicators, not stored-value balances. Model availability, safety systems, concurrency controls, and provider limits may apply even when a plan is described as unlimited. Mandatory consumer and cancellation rights remain unaffected.
6. AI requests and generated output
- You are responsible for prompts, references, edits, and how you use or distribute output.
- Do not submit confidential, identifying, biometric, medical, financial, or other sensitive data unless the feature expressly requires it and you have authority to do so.
- Outputs may be reviewed by automated safety systems and processed by the AI and infrastructure providers identified in the Privacy Policy.
- We do not guarantee that output is lawful, unique, accurate, available, suitable, or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
- Where the law permits, you receive whatever rights we may have in output generated specifically for you, but no rights are granted in third-party material, models, trademarks, or content supplied by others.
7. User content and Community license
You retain your rights in posts, comments, images, scenarios, cards, characters, packs, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and that it complies with these Terms.
You grant Vice Weave a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, cache, reproduce, format, moderate, display, distribute, and technically modify User Content solely to operate, secure, promote within, and improve the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, legal preservation, moderation evidence, and copies already shared by other users.
Public Community content can be viewed, copied, discussed, or downloaded by others. Do not publish anything you need to keep confidential. Attribution, pack licenses, and third-party notices must be accurate and included where required.
8. External images, links, and downloadable packs
Vice Weave may store only a link and metadata for externally hosted images or packs. The external host and creator control availability and may collect data under their own terms. We do not endorse or continuously inspect external files.
Before downloading or importing a pack, verify the host, filename-independent manifest, declared SHA-256, and import preview. You accept the risks of external downloads. Uploading malware, deceptive archives, credential theft, trackers, or content intended to escape validation is prohibited.
9. Prohibited content and conduct
- Any sexual or exploitative depiction of a minor, a person presented as a minor, or age-ambiguous subjects; grooming; or instructions facilitating child exploitation.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualized depictions of identifiable real people without permission, sexual extortion, trafficking, or credible threats.
- Content or conduct that is illegal where the Service is operated or where you access it, including infringement, fraud, stalking, doxxing, or unlawful discrimination.
- Malware, spam, phishing, scraping, denial-of-service activity, security probing without authorization, or attempts to bypass quotas, access controls, moderation, or file validation.
- Impersonation, deceptive affiliation, manipulation of reports or reactions, coordinated harassment, or evasion of a suspension.
- Using the Service to make consequential legal, medical, employment, credit, housing, insurance, or similar decisions about real people.
10. Moderation, reports, audit, and appeals
We may inspect, label, limit visibility, lock, remove, preserve, or report content; restrict features; or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, security, or enforcement. Moderators' actions are logged for internal accountability. We are not required to pre-screen all content and do not guarantee that every violation will be detected immediately.
If you believe a moderation decision was mistaken, contact legal@viceweave.com with the content identifier, decision, and reason for appeal. We may preserve necessary evidence and disclose information when legally required. Repeat or severe violations may result in immediate action without prior warning.
11. Intellectual property
The Service software, branding, interface, original game systems, documentation, and Operator-provided content are owned by or licensed to Vice Weave and are protected by applicable law. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Do not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer where prohibited, remove notices, or use Vice Weave branding to imply endorsement. Rights expressly granted by an open-source or pack-specific license remain governed by that license.
12. Copyright complaints
Copyright notices and counter-notices are handled under the Copyright and Takedown Policy. We may remove material while evaluating a sufficiently specific complaint and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. Fraudulent notices may create legal liability.
13. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how data is processed. Acceptance of these Terms is not consent to optional advertising or analytics. We may send transactional messages required for authentication, security, billing, moderation, or important service changes. Marketing communications, if introduced, will use separate choices where required.
14. Third-party services
The Service depends on providers such as Cloudflare, Patreon, email delivery services, AI model gateways, model providers, and user-selected file hosts. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply. We are not responsible for an external service's content, outages, billing decisions, or independent conduct, but this does not limit obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Availability, backups, and changes
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service. Keep independent backups of content and packs important to you. Cloud saves, local browser data, generated output, and Community material may be lost through device failure, deletion, account action, format migration, provider failure, or events outside reasonable control.
16. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, OR CONTINUOUS AVAILABILITY. We do not warrant that content is safe to download or that every defect or harmful submission will be detected.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vice Weave and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities; or harm arising from user content, external hosts, AI output, or unauthorized account use. Our aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid for Vice Weave benefits during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not permit particular exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Vice Weave against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your User Content, unlawful use, infringement, or material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Vice Weave's own unlawful conduct, and it does not reduce mandatory consumer rights.
19. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion subject to legal retention. We may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated breach, safety risk, fraud, payment reversal, legal requirement, or discontinuation. Where reasonable and legally required, we will provide notice, a reason, and an opportunity to appeal. Sections that by nature should survive termination continue to apply.
20. Governing rules, disputes, and mandatory rights
Before filing a claim, contact legal@viceweave.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally, unless urgent relief or mandatory law permits otherwise. The law and courts of the Operator's principal place of business apply, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that consumers retain the protections and forums that cannot be waived in their home jurisdiction.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or reporting unlawful conduct to a competent authority.
21. Changes and general provisions
We may update these Terms. Material changes will receive a new version and require renewed acceptance or reasonable advance notice. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary, and the remainder will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without permission; we may assign it as part of a reorganization, financing, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.
The version shown below is the agreement presented to you. Questions and legal notices: legal@viceweave.com.
